Melissa Hamilton, M.A., CCC-SLP is the sole proprietor and lead therapist for Surf Side Speech Therapy, located in sunny and surfy Central Florida. She is a Florida State licensed and nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist.
Prior to starting her practice, Melissa worked in various therapy roles, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services in the medical setting. Melissa Hamilton received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.
She also received an additional certification in Medical Speech-Language Pathology, which focused on areas such as dysphagia, traumatic brain injuries, upper aero-digestive disorders, cognitive communication, and motor speech disorders.
